  Chat Enhancer for YouTube adds small quality-of-life tools to YouTube live chat while keeping the native YouTube chat interface.
  
  Translation:
  - Translate live chat messages, with translation off by default

  Chat Enhancer for YouTube adds small quality-of-life enhancements that make YouTube live chat easier to follow and participate in while keeping YouTube's native chat interface. Works across livestreams and replays.
  
  Translation:
  - Translate live chat messages, with translation off by default.
  - Choose whether translations replace the original message or appear below it. Find this setting in the extension pop-up.
  - Translate the message you're typing before sending it.
  - With both incoming and outgoing message translation, that means you can effectively participate in streams in languages you don't know.
  
  Reply and context:
  - Mention or quote messages from YouTube's existing message menu.
  - Click an author name to mention them.
  - Alt/Option-click an author name to quote their message.
  - Use Focus mode to keep one conversation visible while you reply.
  - Recover unsent drafts after coming back to the same stream.
  - Bookmark users you want to recognize later from YouTube's message menu. You can manage your bookmarks in the extension pop-up.
  - Click an avatar to see that user's recent messages and open their channel.
  
  Inbox:
  - Keep a local inbox for messages that mention your handle or match watched keywords/phrases.
  - Highlight mentions and watched keywords in chat and in the inbox.
  - Jump back to saved messages while they are still visible in chat.
  - Optionally play a subtle sound and show tab alerts for new inbox messages.
  
  Emoji and commands:
  - Find your most-used emojis at the top of YouTube's emoji picker.

  Extension pop-up:
  - See whether the extension is active in the current tab or other open live chat tabs.
  - Manage extension settings, bookmarks, and clear local extension data from the pop-up.
  
  Privacy:
  - Chat Enhancer does not replace YouTube chat.
  - Chat Enhancer does not require a separate account.
  - Chat Enhancer does not run analytics.
  - Chat Enhancer does not send data to an extension-owned server.
  - Marked users are stored locally so avatar rings can appear across streams.
  - Unsent drafts are stored locally per stream so they can be restored after refresh.
  - Incoming chat message text is sent to Google Translate only when Translate chat is enabled.
