About
Transform the endless content from your X (Twitter) and Reddit feeds into high quality digests: remove the noise, and enjoy the important stories. Instead of doomscrolling, you get one editorial brief. That day's high signal content, synthesized from the posts you would have seen anyway. Delivered as briefings or articles, schedulable as email, archived on your dashboard. HOW IT WORKS Breve runs in your own browser, using your existing X and Reddit logins. After making an account at https://breve.now, the extension opens your home feed, scrolls it the same way you would, then synthesizes the content into: • An article — a tight editorial read with lead, deck, and themed sections • A briefing — a clipboard-style at-a-glance card view • A scheduled email if you want it delivered THE PRIVACY MODEL Breve's servers never see your X or Reddit cookies, passwords, or session tokens. The scraping happens locally in your browser, under your login. Only post text + basic public metadata leaves your machine. We do not capture your DMs, drafts, notifications, follower lists, account settings, or anything outside the visible post feed. The full privacy policy: https://breve.now/privacy WHO IT'S FOR • People who care about the unique posts and updates which get transcribed live over social media, but hate sifting through endless feeds • People who treat X and Reddit as professional inputs (engineers, founders, researchers, journalists) and want signal without the doomscroll • People who want their morning digest in their inbox rather than reaching for an app WHAT IT IS NOT • Not an X / Reddit replacement: the apps are still where you post, reply, and chat • Not an automation tool: Breve never posts, likes, follows, or DMs on your behalf • Not a data broker: your posts and digests belong to you and are never sold GETTING STARTED 1. Install the extension 2. Sign up at https://breve.now 3. Onboarding wires the extension to your account automatically (no copy/pasting tokens) 4. Brew your first edition PERMISSIONS: WHY WE NEED EACH ONE • Authority to scroll x.com / reddit.com - we only view your home feeds in your own browser, the same way you read them yourself. • Access to breve.now — required to send the captured post text to your account. • Storage — saves your account's API token and a small set of preferences locally. • System.display — used to position the small scrape window in a corner of your screen. • Host permissions (x.com / twitter.com / reddit.com): "Reads the signed-in user's own home feed on these sites: the extension's core purpose." • Host permissions (breve.now): "Sends the scraped posts to the user's own breve.now account and detects when the user is on breve.now to coordinate. Both first-party to the user's account." SUPPORT Email: [email protected] Website: https://breve.now Privacy policy: https://breve.now/privacy
