XUnfollowGhost — the simplest way to find out who stopped following you on X (Twitter).

X doesn't notify you when someone unfollows. Third-party services want your API key, charge monthly fees, or hit rate limits. This extension takes a completely different approach: it reads your followers page directly, just like you would — no API, no tokens, no servers.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Click "Scan Now" from the side panel
2. The extension navigates to your followers page and scrolls through automatically
3. Every follower is recorded locally in your browser
4. Next time you scan, it compares and shows who left

PRIVACY
This extension stores all data locally on your device using IndexedDB. It makes zero external network requests. No analytics, no tracking, no data collection. Your follower data never leaves your browser.

• Must be logged in to x.com

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED
• Storage: Save follower snapshots and scan history locally
• Tabs: Find your x.com tab to start scanning
• Side Panel: Display the dashboard alongside your browser
• Host permissions (x.com): Read follower data from the rendered page

NOTE
The first scan establishes a baseline snapshot. Unfollowers are detected starting from the second scan onward. For best results, scan regularly (e.g. once a day or once a week).
