About

QA Test Log Recorder helps testers capture evidence while they work and turn it into clean deliverables — without leaving the browser.

CAPTURE WHILE YOU TEST
• Annotate directly on the live page: boxes, arrows, highlighter, and solid redaction for sensitive data.
• Capture each step as a screenshot with a description, Pass/Fail status, and expected/actual results.
• Record your screen (whole screen, window, or tab) with optional microphone audio.
• Organize captures into multiple scenarios, with steps numbered per scenario.
• Add screenshots from a file or paste straight from the clipboard (e.g. Windows Snipping Tool) when something can't be captured in-browser.

REVIEW BEFORE YOU SHIP
• Open all screenshots in a full-tab gallery to review full-size, reorder, or delete.
• Keyboard shortcuts for capture, tool switching, and recording.

EXPORT & INTEGRATE
• Export a structured Word (.docx) test log: scenario headers, summary tables, screenshots, and timestamps.
• Push to Azure DevOps (optional, you provide your own org, project, and Personal Access Token):
   – Create a Bug with repro steps and inline screenshots.
   – Create Test Cases from your scenarios (one per scenario, linked under a parent).
   – Attach the Word log or a screen recording to an existing work item.
   – Apply your own default fields, area path, and current-iteration lookup.
