If you've been curious about Web3 and how it all works, there's no better and easier way to start than with the Qortal Extension! In essence, the Qortal extension securely links your local Qortal wallet with your browser, facilitating communication with both Qortal dApps and Web 2.0 applications that utilize features of the Qortal blockchain, like the QORT coin.

The extension acts as a gateway for reviewing transactions initiated from a DApp website. It intercepts all transfer requests, presenting a confirmation window before any transaction is executed on the blockchain, allowing users the choice to either approve or decline the transaction.

Beyond this, you can also use the Qortal Extension as a complete user interface to browse the Qortal blockchain, including being able to:

✅ Join and form dynamic decentralized communities called "groups", where all messages are private and encrypted by default.
