About
Form Stash saves the data you type into a web form and re-fills it later with one click. If you test or fill the same forms over and over, it removes the tedious part: type it once, save it as a named profile, and reuse it whenever you need it. It was built for QA and development work, where you repeatedly fill the same forms across different environments (production, staging, localhost). Because Form Stash matches forms by their field identifiers rather than the page URL, a profile you save on one site fills the same form on any other domain. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Save a form in one click: right-click any field and choose "Form Stash: Save this form". Only the fields of that one form are captured, so unrelated page inputs (search boxes, hidden fields) are ignored. - Re-fill instantly: right-click and choose "Form Stash: Fill this form". If several saved profiles match the form, you pick which one to use. - Keep multiple profiles: save as many data sets as you like (for example "Test User A", "Test User B") and choose between them. - Works across domains: the same form on prod, staging, or localhost is filled from the same profile, because matching is based on field id/name, not the web address. - Manage everything from the toolbar popup: see all saved profiles, see how many of each profile's fields exist on the current page, filter the list, fill, or delete. - Handles every common field type: text, email, number, phone, date, URL, textarea, dropdowns (single and multiple), checkboxes, and radio buttons. Changes fire standard input events so modern form frameworks register them. PASSWORDS Password fields are NOT saved by default. You can turn this on in Settings if you want to store test-login passwords. When a profile contains a password, the popup clearly marks it with a lock indicator. PRIVACY Everything stays on your device. Profiles are stored in your browser's local extension storage and are never sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking. HOW TO USE 1. Fill a form once with the values you want to reuse. 2. Right-click any field in that form and choose "Form Stash: Save this form". 3. Give the profile a name. 4. Later, on the same form (on any site), right-click and choose "Form Stash: Fill this form". NOTES Form Stash needs access to the pages you use it on so it can read and fill form fields when you ask it to. It does not collect or transmit any of your data.
