About

TubeScribe enables exporting transcript from a YouTube video Markdown file, locally, in one click.

If you take notes on videos, build a searchable library of talks, or feed transcripts to an LLM for summarising, you probably know the usual routine: click "Show transcript", select the whole panel, paste it into a doc, fix the line breaks, dig up the title, channel
name, and URL, and finally save the thing. TubeScribe collapses all of that into a single button.

Install it, open the YouTube watch page of the video, open the extension and clcik the "Download Transcript" button to get the file.
