**FrameTogether** enables synchronized film watching on MUBI through virtual watch parties. Create or join rooms using 6-character IDs, where the host controls playback for all viewers in real-time. When the host plays, pauses, or seeks, everyone follows instantly. Perfect for long-distance relationships and film clubs.

**Usage:**
- Navigate to any film on [MUBI](https://mubi.com).
- Create a room or enter existing room ID.
- Share room ID with friends.
- Host controls playback for synchronized viewing.

**Technical:** Currently supports MUBI, with future platform expansion planned. Both extension and server code are fully open source and self-hostable. Server written in Rust for performance and reliability. All participants need the extension and must be on the same MUBI film page.

**Important Notice:** This is not an extension to watch MUBI without a subscription, nor is it affiliated with MUBI. FrameTogether is a video synchronization extension that began development with MUBI support first. All users must have valid MUBI subscriptions to use this extension.
