  Look I don't know if its just me but whenever I hover my mouse on a video on the main page IT IS LOUD so this extension solves it (I hope)
  
  Known Issues.
  Occasional loud audio pop on the very first preview when loading YouTube OR switching between video previews too quickly
  Rarely, hovering quickly between thumbnails can cause two previews to play audio simultaneously
