HOW IT WORKS

Auto Clicker uses a simple 3-step workflow:

1. Activate - Click the extension icon and hit Activate. A floating control panel appears on the page.

2. Record - Click anywhere on the page to mark positions. Each click is saved and displayed as a numbered marker. Record as many positions as you need, in the exact order you want them clicked.

3. Run - Hit the Run button on the panel. Auto Clicker will automatically click through all your recorded positions in sequence, repeating continuously until you press ESC to stop.

That's it. No complicated setup, no coordinate input, no scripting required.


KEY FEATURES

Visual Click Recording
Unlike other auto clickers that require you to manually type in X/Y coordinates, Auto Clicker lets you simply click where you want. Each recorded position is shown as a numbered purple marker directly on the page, so you always know exactly what will be clicked and in what order.

Multi-Position Sequential Clicking
Most auto clicker extensions only click a single point repeatedly. Auto Clicker supports multiple positions clicked in sequence. Record 2, 5, or 20 positions and the macro will cycle through all of them in order, over and over.

Customizable Click Interval
Set the time between clicks from 50ms (extremely fast) to 60,000ms (1 minute). Fine-tune the speed to match your needs. Fast intervals are great for competitive tasks like course registration, while slower intervals work well for automated form filling.

Floating Draggable Panel
The control panel floats on top of the page and can be dragged anywhere so it never blocks the content you need to interact with. Minimize it to a compact header when you need more screen space.

Safe Recording Mode
During recording, all page interactions are blocked. Clicking a link won't navigate away. Clicking a button won't submit a form. Your clicks are purely for marking positions, nothing else. This prevents accidental navigation while you set up your macro.

Smart Scroll Handling
Recorded positions use absolute page coordinates. If a target position is off-screen when the macro runs, Auto Clicker will automatically scroll to bring it into view before clicking.

Real-Time Feedback
During macro execution, the panel shows which position is currently being clicked and how many rounds (complete cycles) have been completed. Visual ripple effects appear at each click location so you can see the macro in action.

Position Management
Made a mistake? No problem. Delete individual positions from the list, or clear all positions and start over. After stopping the macro, you can add more positions or remove existing ones before running again.

Keyboard Shortcut
Press ESC at any time to immediately stop the macro. No need to find and click a button during rapid auto-clicking.

Lightweight & Fast
The entire extension is under 30KB. No external libraries, no background processes, no unnecessary permissions. It only activates when you explicitly click the Activate button.

Auto Clicker requests only the minimum permissions needed to function:

- activeTab: Required to interact with the current page when you click Activate. The extension cannot access any tab you haven't explicitly activated it on.

- scripting: Required to inject the click recording and auto-clicking functionality into the active page.

That's it. No data collection. No analytics. No tracking. No network requests. Everything runs 100% locally in your browser. Your click positions are stored only in memory and are cleared when you close the tab or deactivate the extension. Nothing is ever sent to any server.


MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT

Auto Clicker supports multiple languages and automatically matches your browser's language setting:
- English (default)
- Korean
- Japanese

The interface will display in your browser's language if supported, or fall back to English.


TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

- Position the floating panel away from your target click areas before recording
- Use the minimize button to reduce the panel size during macro execution
- Start with a moderate interval (500ms) and adjust based on your needs
- For time-sensitive tasks like registration, use a faster interval (50-100ms)
- Record positions in the exact order they need to be clicked
- Test your click sequence with a slower interval first to make sure all positions are correct
- Press ESC immediately if something goes wrong

Q: Does it work on any website?
A: Auto Clicker works on most standard web pages. It cannot run on Chrome internal pages (chrome://, chrome-extension://) or the Chrome Web Store due to browser security restrictions.

Q: Will my recorded positions be saved if I refresh the page?
A: No, positions are stored in memory only. Refreshing the page or navigating away will clear them. This is by design for simplicity and privacy.

Q: Can I record clicks inside iframes?
A: Click recording works on the main page content. Clicks inside cross-origin iframes may not be recorded due to browser security restrictions.

Q: Does it simulate real mouse clicks?
A: Yes, Auto Clicker dispatches proper mouse events (mousedown, mouseup, click) on the target element, which closely simulates real user interaction.

Q: How fast can it click?
A: The minimum interval is 50 milliseconds, which equals approximately 20 clicks per second. This is fast enough for virtually any use case.

Q: Is it safe to use?
A: Auto Clicker runs entirely in your browser with no external connections. It has no access to your personal data, passwords, or browsing history. The source code is minimal and transparent.
