  4. Star the ones you want to keep — review them later in your dashboard

  Lingo runs on AI models from Google (Gemini) or Alibaba (Qwen). You bring your own free API key — instructions in the extension's Options page after install. This means:

    ▸ Lingo's servers never see your subtitles or your API key
    ▸ Your usage is on your free API quota — no third party in the middle
