About

JSNT is a keyboard-first command palette and developer toolbox for ServiceNow. Press / on any page to open it; everything else is one or two keystrokes away.

— What it does —

• Command palette. Slash-prefixed, two-letter commands: /br for Business Rules, /si for Script Includes, /cs for Client Scripts, /ua for UI Actions, /acl for Access Controls, plus 15 more. Match scoring uses a frecency bias, so what you actually open keeps surfacing.

• Modifier switches. Add -a for active only, -ut for updated today, -um for updated by you, -n for new record, and a dozen more. The palette builds the URL for you.

• Live record lookup. Drill into individual records straight from the palette without leaving the keyboard.

• Per-field Monaco editors. Open any script field in a real Monaco editor, with version history and direct save back to the platform.

• Form and list overlays. Reveal technical names, hidden fields, attachment previews, and record metadata directly on the page you're looking at.

• Instant switchers. Update set, application scope, domain, language, cluster node — each one keystroke away.

• XML diff. Compare two records, same instance or cross-instance, with structure-aware semantics that respect ServiceNow's update-set conventions.

• Global code search. One query across every script-bearing metadata table, find the business rule, the script include, the UI action.

• GlideRecord template generator. Pick a table and the fields you want; JSNT writes the GlideRecord block, encoded query in place, straight to the clipboard.

• Instance identifier. A discreet on-page badge plus a tinted favicon so you always know which instance the tab points at.

— Privacy —

JSNT runs entirely in your browser. No server, no analytics, no remote code, no tracking. Every request goes directly to the ServiceNow instance you're already authenticated to, using your existing session token. Settings stay in chrome.storage.sync; nothing is sent to a third party.

— Compatibility —

• Targets ServiceNow Yokohama and later.
• Runs in classic UI, Next Experience, and Studio.
