About

A systematic review is an intellectual exercise that ends in a clerical one. Once screening closes and your included set is final, what remains at the full-text stage is the retrieval of every paper in that set, one login and one download at a time. This work scales with the size of your review rather than with its difficulty, and it consumes attention, the single resource you cannot replace. Reach removes this work entirely.

Reach is the companion extension to Blackbird. Once you connect it to a review, it retrieves the full text of every included paper that still lacks a PDF and places each file directly into the review, utilizing the library access you already hold. Therefore, retrieval introduces no new credentials and no separate downloads. You start the process once and contribute nothing further, and Reach assembles the corpus in the background.
