X-Cleanup lets you bulk delete tweets, remove likes, clear bookmarks, and unfollow accounts, all from a single popup, with no API subscription or developer account required.
X doesn't give you a way to clean up your history. Third-party tools charge £10-£20/month for API access. X-Cleanup works differently: it piggybacks on your own browser session, the same way x.com does, so there are no keys to generate and nothing extra to pay for the core features.
What you can do:
Delete tweets - upload your Twitter archive (tweets.js) for a full history, or fetch directly from X for recent posts. Delete everything at once, or filter by original posts, retweets, or replies only.
Claude AI classification (Pro) - subscribe to X-Cleanup Pro to unlock smart tweet classification. Describe your personal brand or professional persona and Claude will sort your tweets into Keep, Delete, and Review piles. You confirm before anything is deleted. Classification runs on our server, no Anthropic account or API key required on your end.
Unlike all - remove every like from your account in bulk. Upload your archive (like.js) or fetch live from X.
Manage bookmarks - fetch, export, or delete your entire bookmarks collection.
Manage follows - unfollow everyone at once, or target only accounts that don't follow you back.
How it works:
X-Cleanup intercepts your browser's own requests to x.com to capture your session token automatically. Your token never leaves your browser and is never sent to any external server. No logins, no permissions beyond what you see in the install prompt.
