Smart Form Filler automatically detects input fields on any webpage and fills them from your saved profiles with a single click.

**Two primary use cases:**
• Personal productivity — save your name, address, and contact details once, then fill repetitive web forms instantly
• Developer & QA testing — generate random realistic test data to speed up form testing workflows

**SMART FIELD DETECTION**
The extension analyses each form field using its name, id, placeholder text, associated label, and autocomplete attribute to automatically identify the field type. It recognises 18 field types: first name, last name, full name, email, phone, street address, city, state/province, ZIP/postal code, country, company, website URL, username, password, credit card number, CVV, expiry date, and date of birth.

**SAVED PROFILES**
Create and manage multiple named profiles. Each profile stores your personal or test data. Switch between profiles using the dropdown to fill forms with different identities, test accounts, or client data.

**RANDOM TEST DATA GENERATION**
Generate realistic random names, US addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, strong passwords, and Luhn-valid test card numbers. Useful for populating forms during development, QA testing, and demos.

**RIGHT-CLICK CONTEXT MENU**
Four actions available directly from the browser right-click menu without opening the popup:
• Fill Form — fills the page using the active profile
• Fill This Field — fills only the field you right-clicked on
• Generate Random & Fill — fills the page with random test data
• Detect Fields — highlights all detected fields with colour-coded labels

**FIELD HIGHLIGHTING**
Press Detect Fields to see colour-coded overlays on every detected input, showing the classified field type and a confidence percentage. Green = name fields, blue = email, orange = phone, purple = address, red = password, pink = payment fields.

**FRAMEWORK COMPATIBLE**
Uses native property setters and dispatches input, change, focus, and blur events so React, Vue, Angular, and other framework-controlled forms detect the filled values correctly.

**IMPORT & EXPORT PROFILES**
Export all your profiles to a JSON file for backup or to share with teammates. Import a JSON file to restore or copy profiles across browsers.

**SEQUENTIAL COUNTER**
Use {{seq:1}} placeholders in profile field values to auto-increment numbers across repeated form submissions. Useful for batch testing where each submission needs a unique identifier.

**AUTO-FILL ON PAGE LOAD**
Optional setting to automatically fill forms using the active profile as soon as a page loads.

**ALL DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE**
All profile data is stored locally using Chrome's storage API. Nothing is sent to external servers.
