Changelog
- Apr 22, 2026description
It's 2026. AI can write code, generate movies, and pass the bar exam. But when you open Slack, you still read every message one by one, jumping from thread to thread, DM to DM, in whatever order they came in. Sure, you could organize them into sections, add VIPs, add keyword alerts... but that's so 1995. Slack's own AI recap is somehow even more of a drag to read than the channels themselves. I was totally fed up spending my time (and attention!) triaging my Slack and built this for myself. Many friends asked, so now it's also in the Chrome web store for you to enjoy! This extension puts everything in one place and uses AI to understand context and tell you what things are about; and sort them by priority, before you open them. It's a Chief of Staff, for your Slack! Every unread across your channels, DMs, and threads appears in a single list. DMs, mentions, thread replies and private channels shown at the top. Channel messages bundled at the bottom, organized into what's relevant to you, and noise. You can navigate everything with your keyboard — think Superhuman, but for Slack! You can up-down, left-right to dig deeper into threads, react, mark read, save, everything. You can burn through 50 unreads in a minute without touching your mouse. Bonus feature: Missing messages your boss or EM sent in channels you're not in? You can now stay on top of them! **** The extension directly talks to Anthropic's API. There's no other server or middleman the data is going through, as you will see in the Chrome permission dialog. *** **Features:** - AI priority classification powered by Claude — understands context, not just keywords - Summarizes messages before you read them — know what it's about in one line - Prioritizes within your mentions and DMs — not all red badges are equal - Full keyboard navigation — fly through your unreads like Superhuman for email - Uses your existing Slack sidebar sections — set rules per section and you're done - VIP tracking — highlights activity from people you care about most - "About me" context so the AI knows what's relevant to your role - Mark-as-read in bulk by priority group - All data stays local — no backend, no account, no tracking **Requirements:** - Slack web app (app.slack.com) - Your own Anthropic API key Built for engineers, PMs, and managers drowning in Slack.

Sure, you could organize them into sections, add VIPs, add keyword alerts... but that's so 1995. Slack's own AI recap is somehow even more of a drag to read than the channels themselves. Many people are building a bespoke workflow in Claude Code or Cowork to triage their Slack. But even after triage, they leave Slack a mess. They don't run live, so your attention gets hijacked by badges and threads all day in Slack. This extension solves that. Everything is in one place, summarized, prioritized, but also synced back with Slack (as you mark things read). You can leverage the Sidebar sections you already set up to organize and navigate everything with your keyboard — think Superhuman. Burn through 50 unreads in a minute without touching your mouse. Bonus features: - Learns your behavior over time -- if you keep "mark all as read" or engaging in a channel, it's fed back into the prioritization - Missing messages your boss or EM sent in channels you're not in? You can now stay on top of them! **** The extension directly talks to Anthropic's API. There's no other server or middleman the data is going through, as you will see in the Chrome permission dialog. *** **Features:** - Summarizes everything into one-liners and prioritizes them - Learns which channels you ignore (and deprioritizes automatically over time) - Full keyboard navigation — fly through your unreads like Superhuman for email - Uses your existing Slack sidebar sections as rules - VIP tracking — highlights activity from people you care about most - "About me" context so the AI knows what's relevant to your role - Mark-as-read in bulk - All prompts editable - All data stays local — no backend, no account, no tracking **Requirements:** - Slack web app (app.slack.com) - Your own Anthropic API key Built for engineers, PMs, and managers drowning in Slack.
