About

D365 JS Library Editor is a developer productivity tool for Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform. It provides two capabilities directly from the browser side panel.

━━ Feature 1: Edit & Publish ━━

Open any D365 record, select a JavaScript library from the dropdown, and edit its code directly in the side panel. No need to open Power Apps or navigate to the solution.

• Auto-detects the entity and form from the page URL
• Loads all JavaScript web resources attached to the form
• Full code editor with line numbers, syntax-aware Tab indentation
• Built-in search (Ctrl+F) with whole-word, case-sensitive, and regex modes
• Search highlights every match inline with the current match highlighted
• Format (auto-indent) and Revert buttons
• Save & Publish sends a PATCH + PublishXml to Dataverse in one click

━━ Feature 2: Breakpoint Debugging ━━

Set breakpoints directly in the editor by clicking the line number gutter. When you trigger the relevant D365 action (save, field change, button click), Chrome DevTools opens automatically at the exact paused line.

• Open Dev Tools F12 (Need Not to Search for any library or Function)
• Click any line in the gutter → red dot breakpoint
• Breakpoints survive page refresh (registered by URL pattern, not script ID)
• When breakpoint fires: DevTools opens automatically at the paused line
• "Stop Debugging" button to dismiss the debugger banner
• Debug tab with read-only view, search, and Ctrl+G to jump to any line

━━ Who Is This For? ━━

Dynamics 365 / Power Platform developers who regularly edit JavaScript web resources and want to eliminate context-switching between CRM records, Power Apps, and DevTools.

━━ Requirements ━━

• A Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environment (*.crm.dynamics.com)
• Chrome browser
• No configuration or login required — uses your existing D365 session
