Generic translators skip half the page. GloBuy translates everything — product names, condition grades, seller notes, buttons, and filters — and converts every price into your currency, inline, right where it sits.

WHAT IT DOES

• Full-page translation — catches scroll-loaded listings, pop-ups, and filter panels. No corner left untranslated.
• Inline currency conversion — every price gets your local currency next to it (e.g., ¥118,000 (≈ $810 USD)), using live exchange rates.
• Resale & luxury glossary — renders jargon like 新品未使用, 정품, S급, and "neuf avec étiquette" as the terms resale buyers actually use (Brand New Unused, Authentic, Grade S) instead of confusing literal translations.
• Size conversion — foreign shoe and apparel sizes annotated with their approximate US equivalent, always marked ≈ because conversions vary by brand.
• Search in English — type your search in English and GloBuy translates the query into the site's language before it's submitted.

• Translation runs 100% on-device using Chrome's built-in translation AI. The text of the pages you visit never leaves your browser.
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• The only network requests are currency codes (like USD, JPY) sent to public exchange-rate APIs to fetch rates — never prices, page content, or anything about you.

HOW TO USE

1. Pin GloBuy to your toolbar.
2. Open any foreign shopping site — Mercari Japan, Naver, Taobao, or anywhere else.
3. Click the GloBuy icon and flip "Translate this site." That's it. GloBuy stays off on every site until you enable it.

Pick your target language and currency in the popup; the glossary and US size conversion can be toggled independently.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires Chrome 138 or newer (GloBuy uses Chrome's built-in on-device Translator). The first translation for a new language pair may download a language pack — you'll see the progress right on the page.
