    HOW IT WORKS
This extension scans YouTube captions in real time.
When a blocked word is detected, the video is muted for your selected mute duration.
Important: captions must be enabled for the extension to work.

    BLOCKED WORDS:
YouTube censors cuss words like f*ck and sh*t as the following:
    [ __ ]
If you want those censored words to be blocked, add:
    [ __ ]
    to your blocked words list.
Also add the actual words separately (for example: fuck, shit), because captions may sometimes display alternative spellings such as:
"Fuck you!" when someone is quoting something.

    SAVING CHANGES
After making a change, for example changing the blocked words or mute time, click "Save" for the changes to take effect.

    DEFAULT WORDLIST
The extension includes a default blocked word list.
Once you edit the blocked words yourself, your custom list replaces the default list.

    TIP: MAKE CAPTIONS LESS VISIBLE
    Go to:
    Settings > Captions > Options:
    - Font color: black
    - Background opacity: 0%
    - Window opacity: 0%
    - Font opacity: 25%
This makes the captions way less visible if you don't like the captions, but still want to avoid swear words.

    TROUBLESHOOTING
    - Make sure the captions are enabled
    - Click "Save" after making changes
    - Refresh YouTube
