Render Detector helps developers and SEO professionals instantly see how a webpage is rendered - what comes from the server (SSR) and what's injected by JavaScript (CSR). HOW IT WORKS Click the extension icon and toggle detection ON The extension fetches the page's raw HTML source and compares it to the live DOM Elements found in the raw HTML are marked as SSR (green) Elements only present after JavaScript runs are marked as CSR (orange) Each element gets a colored border and label showing its type (e.g., SSR ‹h1›, CSR ‹p›) WHAT IT DETECTS Headings (H1-H6) Paragraphs and text content Images and videos Links (navigation, footer, inline) Buttons and form elements List items and table cells Blockquotes and labels WHY USE IT SEO auditing - check if important content is server-rendered for search engine crawlers Performance debugging - identify heavy client-side rendering Technical audits - quickly assess a site's rendering strategy Learning - understand how modern web frameworks render content PRIVACY No data is collected or sent anywhere All analysis happens locally in your browser No tracking, no analytics, no external requests (except fetching the current page's HTML) Built with care by Harut.
