ShortBlock is a parent-controlled extension that kills short-form video the moment your child tries to open it. TikTok is blocked entirely. YouTube Shorts redirects to the YouTube homepage. Instagram Reels media is blocked. Snapchat Spotlight is blocked.

Regular YouTube — documentaries, music videos, tutorials — keeps working perfectly. Only the addictive 60-second scroll is stopped.

HOW IT WORKS

Install the extension on your child's browser. On first launch, set a parent PIN only you know. Protection activates immediately. Your child cannot disable it without the PIN.

• TikTok — entire site and app CDN blocked
• YouTube Shorts — redirects to YouTube homepage instantly
• Instagram Reels — Reels media CDN blocked
