HN Collapse All Comments adds a single toolbar button that collapses every expanded comment on a Hacker News discussion page.

If you've ever landed on a 500-comment thread and wanted to scan top-level replies without scrolling forever, this is for you. Click the extension icon and every comment collapses instantly — then you can expand just the branches you care about.

HOW TO USE
1. Open any Hacker News comment thread (news.ycombinator.com/item?id=...)
2. Click the extension icon in your toolbar
3. All expanded comments collapse. Click any [+] to expand a branch you want to read.

PERMISSIONS
This extension uses only "activeTab" and "scripting" — it can only run on the tab you're currently looking at, and only when you click the icon. It has no background access to your browsing, no host permissions to any site, and does not read or send any data.
