PHOTOS
Each photo is sourced from professional photographers and selected for quality, composition, and variety. The collection rotates automatically so you see something new throughout the day. You can pause the rotation, step back to a previous image, or skip ahead at any time using the on-screen controls.

SEARCH
A search bar sits front and centre on every new tab so you can start a web search without navigating away from your current page. Just type and go. Results powered by Yahoo!.

CLOCK AND DATE
The current time and date are always visible. Choose between 12-hour and 24-hour formats, or switch to an analog clock face if you prefer.

WEATHER
Local weather conditions and a short forecast are shown automatically based on your location. Stay informed without opening a separate weather app or tab.

NOTES
A built-in notepad lets you jot down thoughts, tasks, or reminders directly on your new tab. Your notes are saved locally in your browser so they are always there when you need them.

FOCUS MODE
When you want fewer distractions, Focus mode strips the interface back to just the photo, clock, and search bar. Everything else steps aside so you can concentrate.

MINIMAL MODE
For a completely clean look, Minimal mode hides all widgets and shows only the full-screen photograph. Perfect for a moment of calm between tasks.

PRIVACY
Beautiful Beaches does not track your browsing activity, does not require an account or sign-in, and does not sell or share your data. Weather uses your device location only to fetch the local forecast and that data never leaves your browser.

PERMISSIONS
The extension requests location access for weather and the ability to override the new tab page. No other permissions are required.
