Auto-save & hotkeys
NoteCache keeps the NotebookLM session you’re viewing synced automatically while you work. Manual save shortcuts (Alt+Shift+S / ⌘⇧S) now act as a quick sync button when you want to force an immediate snapshot.

Real-time incremental updates
Keep the recorder running while you chat. NoteCache appends new turns in place, deduplicates messages, and stores the full transcript so nothing slips through when a conversation evolves.

Session Center workspace
Browse a chronological library with message counts, quick stats, and star-only views. Jump back into NotebookLM, open detailed transcripts in a dedicated tab, or keep an eye on usage trends right from the popup.

Lightning-fast full-text search
Find ideas instantly with title and body search that supports prefix and fuzzy matching. Matches are highlighted across cards and detail views, making long NotebookLM threads easy to navigate.

Clean Markdown & JSON exports
Share or archive conversations with thoughtfully formatted Markdown (headings, code blocks, quotes) or structured JSON that preserves roles, timestamps, tags, and source URLs.

How It Works
Install NoteCache and pin it to your Chrome toolbar.

Open a conversation in NotebookLM and click the NoteCache icon (or press the shortcut) to snapshot everything you see.

Continue chatting—new messages are detected and appended automatically.

Open the popup for quick stats or jump into the Session Center to filter, star, search, and export any conversation.

Need to share? Export a Markdown file for notes apps or grab the JSON schema for automations.

Privacy & Permissions
Storage, activeTab, scripting, downloads, contextMenus — used to extract NotebookLM content, persist it locally, and provide export/save options.

Debugger (optional) — requested only when you enable the experimental network capture fallback; it helps pull structured responses when DOM parsing isn’t enough.

NoteCache never uploads or syncs your conversations. Clearing your data is always one click away from the Session Center.
