  FindPrint analyzes terms of service, privacy policies, and cookie policies on websites. It uses AI to summarize key points, identify concerning clauses, and provide a transparency score to help users understand what they are agreeing to.

  PERMISSION JUSTIFICATIONS (for Privacy Practices tab):

  activeTab:
  Required to access the content of the current tab for analyzing terms of service and privacy policy documents displayed on the page.
  
  scripting:
  Required to inject a content script that extracts document text from web pages for analysis. The script only reads text content and does not modify the page.
  
  tabs:
  Required to obtain the current tab's URL and title to provide context for the analysis and to cache results correctly.
  
  host_permissions (file:///*)
  Required to enable users to analyze local PDF files of terms and conditions documents saved to their computer.
  
  Remote Code Justification:
  FindPrint does not use any remote code. All extension logic is bundled inside the extension package. The extension communicates with our backend API server for AI analysis (data transfer only - no code is loaded or executed from external sources). A Content Security Policy (script-src 'self') is enforced to prevent any external script loading.

  To test FindPrint:
  
  1. Install the extension
  2. Click the FindPrint icon to open the popup
  3. Click "Get Started"
  4. Click "Sign Up" and create a free account with any email and password
  5. After signing in, navigate to a terms of service page, for example:
     - https://policies.google.com/terms
     - https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/terms/site.html
     - https://twitter.com/en/tos
  6. Click the FindPrint icon again
  7. Click "Analyze Page"
  8. The extension will extract the page text and send it to our AI backend
  9. Within 5-15 seconds, results will appear showing:
     - A transparency score (0-100)
     - An executive summary in plain English
     - Flagged clauses with risk levels (High/Medium/Low)
     - Additional notes
  
  The status bar below the Analyze button shows real-time progress:
  "Starting analysis..." -> "Checking page..." -> "Verifying account..." ->
  "Connecting to AI analysis server..." -> "Sending document to AI..." -> results
  
  If you see "This page appears to have insufficient text content" it means
  the page does not contain enough text to analyze. Please navigate to a
  full terms of service or privacy policy page.
