1. Overview
Browser-native Markdown editor. Open, edit, and live-preview .md files in a new tab. Drag-and-drop local files, edit, save back to disk. No network, no server, no login — all local.
2. Permissions
activeTab / tabs: Create and manage the editor tab.
storage: Save user preferences (theme, view mode) only.
File-system access: Read/write local files via OS dialogs or drag-and-drop, triggered by explicit user action.
3. Privacy
Zero data collection. No tracking, analytics, or remote config. All content stays in browser memory and user-selected local paths.
4. Test Checklist
Click icon → new tab opens with editor.
Drag .md file → loads in edit pane.
Type text → preview renders in real time.
Save (Ctrl/Cmd+S or button) → writes to original path or triggers download.
Disconnect network → all features work offline.
5. Known Limitations
First save may prompt an OS download dialog or directory permission request due to browser security sandbox.
File System Access API requires modern Chromium + supported OS. Falls back to legacy download flow if unavailable.
