About
Short Description Automates data entry in Oracle Cloud applications by auto-filling subinventories, locators, and quantities from an uploaded CSV file. Detailed Description Location Updater eliminates manual data entry errors and accelerates your inventory workflows within Oracle Cloud. Designed specifically for warehouse operations and inventory management, this extension automates the process of filling out multi-field rows based on a standard CSV file. How It Works: Upload Your CSV: Click the extension icon and drag-and-drop your inventory file. Navigate to Oracle: Open your standard Oracle Cloud data entry or transaction page. Trigger Automation: Simply type or scan an Item Code into any row. Hands-Free Completion: The extension instantly detects the item, auto-fills the corresponding Source Subinventory, Source Locator, Destination Subinventory, Destination Locator, and Quantity, and then automatically adds a new row to continue the loop until your file is completely processed. Key Features: Dynamic Row Detection: Uses robust heuristic matching to accurately find input fields regardless of minor Oracle UI alterations. Smart Duplication Prevention: Automatically skips rows where the source and destination locators match to prevent redundant entry errors. Native Event Triggering: Bypasses framework constraints to ensure data propagates correctly to Oracle’s backend servers. Privacy-First Design: All CSV data is processed and stored locally on your machine using chrome.storage. No data ever leaves your browser or gets sent to third-party servers. CSV Layout Requirements: Your uploaded CSV must contain 6 columns in the following order: 1. Item Code 2. Source Subinventory 3. Source Locator 4. Destination Subinventory 5. Destination Locator 6. Quantity
