About
Clamp is an open-source OSINT capture tool for investigators, researchers, and analysts who need verifiable records of web pages. Three capture modes: Screenshot: Full-page JPEG screenshot with optional capture header showing URL, timestamp, and domain HTML: Self-contained HTML snapshot with all resources inlined for offline viewing Package: Complete evidence bundle with screenshot, HTML snapshot, PDF, HTTP headers, DNS records, TLS certificate data, WHOIS/RDAP, and page metadata — all integrity-hashed and timestamped Evidence packages include: SHA-256 hashes for every captured file, recorded in a signed manifest RFC 3161 timestamp proof from FreeTSA to establish when the capture was made Full capture log with timestamps for each operation Browser and environment metadata for chain-of-custody documentation Additional features: Wayback Machine submission to archive the page alongside your local capture Built-in package verification tool that re-hashes every file and validates the timestamp proof Adjustable scroll settings for capturing lazy-loaded content on slow connections (e.g. Instagram, Twitter feeds) Investigator name, case reference, and role fields for professional use Works on any publicly accessible web page No data is collected, stored remotely, or transmitted to any server other than FreeTSA (for timestamping, opt-in per capture) and the Wayback Machine (opt-in per capture). All processing happens locally in your browser.
