About

PDF Merge & Split — Offline lets you combine, split, rotate, and clean up
PDFs without uploading anything, anywhere. Every operation runs locally in
the extension's own page, using pdf-lib — a pure-JavaScript PDF library
that ships entirely inside the extension (no server, no cloud processing).

Click the toolbar icon to open the tool in its own tab — not a popup, so an
in-progress multi-file merge survives you switching tabs to go find another
file.

FREE, AND GENUINELY USEFUL
- Merge up to 5 PDFs at once, in whatever order you choose.
- Reorder pages within a file, or reorder which files feed a merge.
- Basic split: break one PDF into two parts at a page boundary.

PREMIUM ($5 one-time)
- Unlimited merge — no file-count cap.
- Page-range extract: pull any set of pages (e.g. "1-3,5") into a new PDF.
- Rotate: rotate a page range, or the whole document, by 90/180/270
  degrees.
- Delete pages: remove any set of pages from a document.
- Compression-lite: strips document metadata and re-encodes with
object-stream compression. This is NOT image recompression or
downsampling — it will not shrink a PDF full of large scanned images the
way a dedicated image-recompression tool would; it reduces structural
overhead only, and may not shrink (or could even slightly enlarge) a PDF
that is already optimized and carries no strippable metadata.
- Saved workflows: name and re-apply a page-range/rotation configuration
later, without re-typing it — stored only on your device.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
This extension never reads the current tab or any web page — it only
processes PDF files you explicitly drag in or select. It requests exactly
one permission, storage, used only to save your (optional, premium)
workflow presets on your own device. This extension collects no data of
any kind — no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. The only network
traffic it ever makes is a purchase-verification check with ExtensionPay
if you choose to upgrade.

No subscription, no account required — pay once, keep the features.
