About

Sectora Browser Shield is the browser-side agent of the Sectora security platform. It protects managed devices from the browser's three biggest risk vectors:

  • Extension risk — continuously assesses every installed extension (permissions, provenance, store status, known-malicious blacklist) and flags or disables
  dangerous ones per your organization's policy.
  • Phishing & malicious sites — blocks known phishing and data-exfiltration destinations before they load, and detects credential-theft page patterns locally.

  • Risky downloads — warns on web-delivered executables and deceptive files.

  Built privacy-first: page analysis runs on the device; only security verdicts — never your page content, form values, or passwords — are reported to your
  organization's Sectora console. Designed for enterprise deployment via Chrome Enterprise policy.
