About

seekey opens a keyboard-first search palette with one leader key. Use it to find and open bookmarks, optional recent browsing history, past Google search terms, and your own direct shortcut bindings without reaching for the mouse.

Direct shortcuts are part of the same search box. For example, a binding such as `gh` can appear as the top result while normal bookmark and history results remain available below it.

All matching, fuzzy search, and frecency ranking runs locally in the browser. seekey does not send bookmarks, browsing history, search terms, settings, or shortcut bindings to a developer server.

History search is optional and off by default. If it is not enabled, seekey searches bookmarks and direct shortcuts only.
