This extension serves a single purpose: to enhance YouTube's search functionality by providing users with an intuitive interface for advanced search operators. It allows users to easily construct complex search queries without having to remember specialized syntax, helping them find specific YouTube content more efficiently.


Most notable options / features:

- Display only videos in your results (no "Shorts" etc.)
- Force your keywords to be in the Video Title
- Look for an exact phrase in the title
- Set various date parameters to narrow down the upload date timespan.
- All the standard Youtube search filters

Just bear in  mind: Youtube wants to show you what it wants to show you and always tweaks the results to its own liking. This tool does not overcome this fact but merely attempts to navigate around it the best Youtube allows. 

Please also bear in mind that this tool uses URL Search Parameters for some filtering options. Youtube changes the accepted URL-suffixes every once in a while without further notice or guidelines. This can affect the usability of this tool over night. Just saying. The developer aims to keep the functionality afloat.

In any case:

It's fair to say that the "Clean Feed" feature works quite well! When checked (on by default), your Youtube search results will now contain VIDEOS ONLY - at least in theory. So NO SHORTS, NO "RECOMMENDED" etc, just plain good ol' infinite scroll of videos.

The "Date Range" option is also very robust and VERY HANDY. Want to listen to background music before the topic was flooded with AI music? Want to watch Stephen Colbert clips from before 2016? See what was going on at CNN's channel in regards to a specific topic in a specific time frame? It's very easy with this tool.
