TraceSift is a precision search and highlight tool for IT professionals, support analysts, and network engineers who need to search for multiple terms simultaneously on any webpage — including enterprise apps like ServiceNow and Salesforce.

HOW IT WORKS
Enter your search terms one per line — IP addresses, hostnames, incident numbers, names, keywords — and TraceSift instantly highlights every match on the page in a distinct color. The Matched panel shows exactly which of your terms were found. The Unmatched panel shows which weren't.

MATCH MODES
- Exact Match — finds the precise term only
- Starts With — finds all words beginning with your prefix (e.g. "ash" finds ashish, ashwini, ashley as full words)
- Regex — full regular expression support (e.g. 192\.168\.\d+\.\d+ matches any IP in a subnet)

MATCHED / UNMATCHED PANEL
See which of your searched terms were found on the page and which were not — not the page content, but your actual search list. Perfect for validating whether a list of IPs, hostnames, or ticket numbers appear on screen.

CLICK LEGEND TO NAVIGATE
Click any colored term chip to jump to its first occurrence. Use Prev/Next to cycle through all occurrences of that specific term. Counter shows exactly where you are.

COLOR CUSTOMIZATION
Click the color dot on any legend chip to pick a custom color for that term. 18 preset swatches plus a full color wheel.

CASE SENSITIVE TOGGLE
Switch between case-sensitive and case-insensitive matching with one click.

SELECT ALL MATCHES
One click copies all matched text from the page directly to your clipboard. Especially powerful with regex.

CSV EXPORT
Download results as a .csv file with columns: Term, Status, Count — ready to paste into Excel or a ticket.

WORKS INSIDE IFRAMES
Searches all frames on the page. Works correctly on ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, and other enterprise apps that render content inside iframes.

SUPPORTS CODE EDITORS
Detects CodeMirror and Monaco editor instances (used in ServiceNow script fields) and highlights matches inside them.

SIDE PANEL MODE
Open as a Chrome side panel that stays open while you interact with the page — no more popup closing when you click.

MINIMIZE TO MINI BAR
Collapse the popup to a slim navigation strip so highlighted content behind it is visible.

DARK MODE
Full dark/light theme toggle with all highlights adapting properly.
