About

OpenRay Scribe is a Chrome extension for live transcription using the OpenRay STT model. It captures your microphone and the audio from your active Chrome tab, streams both audio sources to OpenRay for speech-to-text transcription, and shows the transcript in real time.
The extension keeps microphone and tab audio separate, so transcripts can identify whether speech came from you or from the browser tab. Completed sessions are saved locally in your browser, allowing you to review previous transcripts from the session history page.

Key features:
- Live transcription powered by the OpenRay STT model
- Microphone and active-tab audio capture
- Separate speaker labels for mic and tab audio
- Real-time transcript preview
- Local session history
- Clear saved transcript history when needed
- No raw audio stored locally by the extension

OpenRay Scribe is useful for browser meetings, interviews, calls, demos, videos, and other tab-based audio workflows where quick speech-to-text transcription is needed.
