About
ag QA is a local-only inspector for analytics tags. Open the side panel, browse your site, and watch every beacon your pages fire get decoded in real time — the provider that sent it, the event name, and a clean, grouped view of every parameter. It runs entirely on your machine. There is no backend and no account, and common PII (emails, phone numbers, credit cards, and similar) is redacted before anything is captured. Tag QA recognizes the major analytics and marketing platforms out of the box — including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Segment — along with roughly forty providers in total, plus direct dataLayer and gtag calls. What you can do with it: See tags decode live as you click through a page. Auto-walk a page to click every visible element, or run a Site Audit that spiders several same-host pages and walks each one. Record a click journey once and replay it later; the replay self-heals when your page structure changes. Validate captures against a JSON rule file, turning each result into a clear pass, fail, or warning. Export everything to a multi-sheet Excel workbook, complete with embedded screenshots of each step. Review a structured diagnostic log to understand exactly what each run did. Tag QA is built for the everyday work of checking a tracking implementation: confirming a new tag deploy, verifying that conversion events fire on the right pages, and debugging property values before a release. It ships with a clean, modern interface and a built-in dark mode.
