    description
Protect yourself attacks and have a safer experience when meeting with others
Meeting Guard is a free Chrome extension that warns you when an unknown website requests access to your camera or microphone. As an extra layer, it flags suspicious meeting links (typosquats, homoglyphs, punycode lookalikes). It also includes a prompt library for use during suspicious calls.

Free, runs locally, never sends your data anywhere.

    WHAT IT DOES
Warns on camera and microphone requests from unknown websites. A live allowlist covers 50+ legitimate meeting platforms. Any request from a site outside that list triggers a pop-up warning.

Spots suspicious meeting links. An extra layer that watches for fake meeting URLs: typosquats, homoglyph domains, punycode lookalikes. Useful as an early signal, but it can't catch every scam URL pattern.

Also includes a link checker and prompt library. Paste any meeting invite into the link checker for an instant verdict. The prompt library offers liveness checks, shared-memory questions, and false-memory traps for mid-call use. Not deepfake detection.

    A NOTE ON LIMITS
This is a basic layer of protection, not a guarantee. Sophisticated attackers can still get through, so treat it as one layer of defense, not the only one.

    WHAT WE DON'T DO
No tracking, no analytics, no telemetry. No data leaves your browser. No account, no subscription, no paid tier.
