Instant Discord is a Chrome extension that lets you share any YouTube video or Short to your Discord channels instantly — without ever leaving YouTube.

Why I built it?
YouTube's native share button has never played well with Discord. Every time I wanted to send a video to my friends, I had to copy the URL, switch to Discord, find the right channel, paste it, and type out a message — all while the video was sitting there paused. It broke the flow completely. I just wanted to keep watching and share at the same time.
So I built Instant Discord. Hover over the video, hit the button, and it's in your Discord channel in one click. No pausing. No tab switching. No friction.

How to set up Instant Discord
Step 1 — Get your Discord Webhook URL
In Discord, right-click the channel you want to share to → Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook → Copy Webhook URL.
Step 2 — Configure the extension
Click the Instant Discord icon in your Chrome toolbar. Enter your name and paste your webhook URL under Discord Channels. Add as many channels as you want. Hit Save.
Step 3 — Share
Go to any YouTube video or Short. Hover over the player — the Instant Discord button appears. Click it, optionally add a message or a start timestamp, then hit Send It!
