About

What QuixQuiz does
QuixQuiz is a study helper that works from the page you already have open in Chrome. You do not need a separate screenshot app, manual cropping, or copy-paste into another tool. When you tell QuixQuiz to run, the extension captures the page, sends it through our service, and returns AI explanations and concept summaries in plain language.

User-initiated capture — the extension handles the technical work
Every capture starts with a deliberate action from you. QuixQuiz never scans pages on its own or monitors your browsing in the background.

• Visible capture — snaps what is on screen. Best when the question and choices fit in view.
• Full-page capture — collects a stitched view of a long page. Best for tall homework layouts you would otherwise scroll through section by section.

You pick the mode for that moment. The extension packages the image and runs analysis so you can stay focused on learning.

How to trigger a scan (you always start it)
• Click the extension icon or floating scan button on the page
• Open the side panel for a pinned workflow beside your tab
• Use keyboard shortcuts (customize keys in Chrome → Extensions → Keyboard shortcuts)
• Right-click the page and choose the QuixQuiz capture option

What you get after a scan
After a capture finishes, QuixQuiz shows AI output focused on understanding:
• Questions detected on the page
• Step-by-step explanations in plain language
• Concept summaries and confidence indicators
• A history of recent scans for review

Who this is for
Students and self-learners who practice online, work through question banks, or read course material in the browser — whenever outside help is allowed and you want a calmer “explain this to me” moment.

Account and sign-in
Sign in with Google or email/password so your account, settings, and scan history stay tied to you.

Fair use (important)
Use QuixQuiz only when your school, course, or employer allows study helpers and screenshots. Do not use it during live exams, proctored tests, or closed-book assessments. Always verify anything that affects your grade or work. QuixQuiz is for studying and understanding — not for bypassing rules.

Privacy
Screenshots are captured only when you explicitly start a scan and are sent to quixquiz.com for processing. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, send, and retain: https://quixquiz.com/privacy
