ResearchBinder collects tabs, selected text, and notes into local research sessions.

Create a session for a topic, capture the current tab or all tabs in a window, save selected text, add notes, and copy the session as Markdown when you are ready to move it into another app.

ResearchBinder is local-only. It does not create an account, sync research sessions, collect analytics, or send research data anywhere.

Permissions:

- Storage: saves sessions, captures, snippets, and settings locally
- Tabs / activeTab: captures current tab or window tab details when requested
- Context menus: captures selected text on demand
- Clipboard write: copies exported Markdown when requested
- Site access: reads selected text for user-triggered snippet capture
