When you share your browser tab during a video call, some streaming sites display a black rectangle instead of the video. This happens because of how modern browsers render video content using hardware overlays — a rendering path that is invisible to screen capture.

ClearCast applies a simple CSS adjustment to video elements that moves them from the hardware overlay to the standard compositing path. The result: your viewers see the video normally during screen sharing, just as it appears on your own screen.

Additionally, when a screen share is in progress, ClearCast prevents video players from pausing or showing "Are you still watching?" prompts when you switch between your shared tab and your conferencing app. This keeps playback uninterrupted throughout your presentation or meeting.
