History Sync turns Chrome's browsing history into something your AI agents
can actually use.
Install the extension, sign in once with Google, and any page you dwell on
for 10+ seconds gets captured to your own server. Then point Claude, Cursor,
Claude Desktop, or any other MCP-capable client at the server and ask what
you've been reading.
WHAT GETS CAPTURED
  · URL, title, basic page metadata (description, OpenGraph tags)
  · How long you dwelled on the page
  · The visit timestamp
WHAT NEVER GETS CAPTURED
  · Incognito browsing — the extension declares incognito: not_allowed
  · chrome:// pages, extension internals, privileged URLs
  · Form contents, passwords, cookies, page-body text beyond title/metadata
  · Anything from sites you've added to your disallow list
WHAT YOU CONTROL
  · One-click pause from the extension popup
  · "Block this site" to stop capture on the active tab
  · Wildcard disallow patterns (e.g. *.bank.com) — applied retroactively
    AND going forward, so prior matching entries are deleted from the server
  · Revoke any MCP client from the web dashboard — token stops working on
    the next call
HOW IT WORKS
  The extension flushes captured pages to history-sync.vercel.app every
  ~60 seconds. The server exposes them via MCP at /api/mcp/mcp with OAuth
  scoped per-client. Source is open; see GitHub link.
THIS IS A FRIENDS-AND-FAMILY ALPHA
  Single operator, plaintext on a single hosted server, no end-to-end
  encryption yet. Only install if you'd trust the operator with the same
  data Chrome's built-in history already holds. Read the privacy policy
  linked below before installing.
