Create your first class and assignment, then give your Showbie class code to your students so they can join with or without an email. Your whole class will be up and running in minutes.

Engage your students with rich, responsive feedback
Students and teachers can communicate right inside the assignment folder, where teachers can provide feedback and students can ask questions or comment. In Showbie Pro, teachers can assign letter, number and even emoji grades, which can be easily exported.

Voice Notes
Record voice notes with any browser that supports media capture. Add a pinned voice note directly to student work, or in an assignment folder, group or class discussion.

Pinned Comments
Pinned comments are a great way to add feedback directly to a student's work. Simply drop a note onto a document to provide feedback or instructions. Right-click to edit your comment!

Text Tool
The text tool allows you and your students to add formatted text directly to a PDF or image within Showbie. Use the options menu to adjust font size, colour, and alignment. 

Fast and painless marking
Showbie shows you which students have submitted work, and which submissions you’ve already graded. Curl up with your laptop in a comfy chair and finish that batch of marking in record time, keeping all of your grades organized in one place.

Save exemplary work & share with parents
Adding student work to their personal digital portfolio is as easy as a click, where it remains stored under that students’ login. Portfolio work can then be shared with parents, who you can easily invite to Showbie. With Showbie Pro, teachers can share all classroom activity for a student to their parent if they enable it through Parent Access.

Keep your class organized
With Showbie’s individual student folders, your students will never lose their homework again. Student work is stored securely in the cloud, so students can even switch between computers and keep working on the same file. Showbie also always reminds students when assignment due dates are approaching.

Set assignments to be ‘view-only’ so that students can review work, feedback, and grades, without allowing them to revise their work.

Scheduled Assignment Access
You can now schedule student access changes in advance, setting up an assignment to become locked, unlocked, or view-only automatically at a certain date and time.

Fine-tune Your Notifications
It's now possible to configure your notification settings exactly to your liking, with separate control over push and email notifications, and specific control over most notification types.
