About
Shortening a URL usually means copying it from the address bar, opening your link shortener in another tab, pasting, and only then getting your short link. For something you do dozens of times a week, that's a lot of friction. Fold is a companion extension for Nimble Links (https://www.nimblelinks.com). Click the Fold icon on any page and Nimble Links opens in a new tab with the current page's URL already filled in — you just pick a folder, add a label, and hit create. Works the same on articles, pull requests, dashboards, docs, and anywhere else you spend time. Fold is intentionally minimal. It doesn't store tokens, doesn't talk to any server from the extension itself, and doesn't run on any page until you click the icon. All shortening, authentication, and link management happen in the Nimble Links web app where they already live.
