The extension makes requests to our own server at peakproductivity.online: an anonymous license check, and anonymous, aggregate usage events (for example 'installed' or 'used a feature') labeled only with a random device id and the version number. When you run the Pro AI analysis, the product information from the page is sent to our server to generate that analysis. These requests carry no personal data, and we never collect the other pages you browse. If you choose to send feedback through the rating prompt, that message is sent too. We use no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and we never sell or share your data.

Q: Is the margin accurate?
A: It uses the published 2026 TikTok Shop referral and processing fees plus your entered cost, shipping and commission. It is a strong estimate to compare products, not your accountant.

Q: Does it send the products I look at to a server?
A: The scoring runs locally on your device and the products you browse are not collected. The extension does send anonymous usage events (event name, random device id, and version), an anonymous license check, and, when you click the AI analysis button, a short product summary for that specific product.

Q: What if the page does not show units sold or rating?
A: Product Scout fills in what the page exposes and lets you enter the rest. The score adapts and flags anything it had to estimate.

Q: Is a high score a guarantee?
A: No. It removes the obvious money-losers and surfaces the risks. You still test with content.

Q: Does it work for affiliates too?
A: Yes. Set the commission and it scores the product from an affiliate angle, including whether the commission clears the creator floor.
