About

See what is in your photo. Then strip it.

Every photo your phone takes carries hidden EXIF metadata — GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, timestamps and software history. Share it and you may be handing over your home address. Remove EXIF shows you exactly what a photo reveals, then strips it — 100% inside your browser, with no upload, no account and no telemetry.

HOW IT WORKS
• Right-click any image on the web → "Remove EXIF — strip & download" for a clean copy.
• Or open the popup and drop, paste, or select photos to inspect every field first.
• GPS coordinates are shown front and center with an offline location lookup and a map preview — the scariest leak gets the spotlight.
• Batch mode cleans up to 50 photos at once and returns a single zip.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
• See-then-strip in one flow. Most tools either view or strip — this does both.
• Lossless. Supported formats are cleaned without re-encoding, so quality and dimensions are untouched.
• Private by design. Nothing leaves your device. Airplane mode works fine.
• Honest about scope. City-level naming is computed offline; we never invent a place name we cannot justify.

KEEP-BASIC MODE
Photographers can keep camera and exposure fields while removing only GPS and serial numbers.
