About
QueueGuard - Jira Service Management Queue Governance QueueGuard is a standalone Chrome extension for Jira Service Management teams that need clearer queue prioritization, execution discipline, and governance reasoning. QueueGuard evaluates visible Jira queue/list items in your browser, ranks operational risk, highlights recommended work, and helps operators stay aligned to the most important next action. It is designed for support, service operations, escalation, and workflow governance use cases where teams need more than a generic dashboard. ### What QueueGuard helps with - Prioritize visible Jira queue/list items by operational risk - Identify breached, aging, stalled, ownership-gap, and high-priority work - Follow an execution plan instead of manually scanning the queue - Understand why a ticket is recommended - Interpret SLA state using bounded, visible-data-based confidence language - Use governance profiles to tune recommendations for different operating needs - Keep data local-first with no QueueGuard backend ### Core capabilities - Visible queue prioritization - Jira row priority/risk indicators - Queue Health summary - Selected Issue Decision reasoning - Execution guidance - SLA confidence language - Local-first configuration ### Pro capabilities - Advanced governance profiles - Detailed decision reasoning - Larger execution plans - Candidate workflow visibility - Advanced guidance and drift tuning - Signed Pro license support ### Governance profiles - Balanced Operations - general queue governance and safe default prioritization - SLA Protection - emphasizes breached and near-breach SLA exposure - Backlog Reduction - emphasizes aging and stale backlog pressure - Ownership Cleanup - emphasizes unassigned or unclear ownership signals ### Privacy and data handling QueueGuard does not use a QueueGuard backend. Configuration is stored locally in Chrome extension storage. Jira API requests, when configured, go directly from the extension to your configured Jira Cloud site. QueueGuard evaluates visible Jira queue/list items only and does not claim access to hidden, unloaded, or unavailable Jira data. ### Important boundary QueueGuard is a decision-support and workflow governance tool. It does not replace Jira, Jira Service Management SLA configuration, or organizational escalation policy. SLA status is inferred from available Jira/visible data and may vary depending on Jira configuration. ### Support For QueueGuard support, licensing help, or setup questions, contact [email protected].
