Direction Picker — Per-Element Direction

About

Direction Picker lets you fix text direction on any website, one element at
a time. If a page mixes Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, or Urdu with English and
something renders the wrong way — a comment box, a chat bubble, a table
cell, a code block — point at it and lock it to RTL or LTR. The rule sticks.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the popup and start picking mode.
2. Hover elements on the page — they highlight as you go.
3. Hold Ctrl to preview how each direction will look.
4. Click to save. Press Esc to cancel.

Pick the same element again to toggle its direction. No duplicates.

WHAT IT'S GOOD FOR

PERMISSIONS — WHY EACH ONE
- storage: save your rules locally.
- activeTab: act on the page you're currently viewing.
- scripting: inject the picker overlay and apply direction.
- host access: rules can target any site you choose to pin elements on.

The extension only runs on regular web pages (http, https, file).
It does not run on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, or the new-tab page.

No accounts. No tracking. No network calls. Rules live in your browser.
