Place Notes is a simple bookmarking tool for Google Maps. When you find an interesting business, restaurant, or place, click "Save Current Listing" to keep its details (name, address, phone, website, rating) in your personal list. Export everything to Excel whenever you want.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Open Google Maps and click on any business listing
2. Open the Place Notes popup
3. Click "Save Current Listing" — that's it

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED:
- activeTab: To read the listing on the Maps tab when you click Save
- storage: To save your places locally
- Google Maps host: To read listing details from maps.google.com only

This extension does NOT automate browsing, click on listings, scroll feeds, or scrape search results. It only reads the single listing you have already opened, and only when you ask it to.
