About

Make It Count replaces every new tab in Chrome with a full-screen
life-expectancy countdown — years, months, days, hours, minutes, and
seconds remaining, plus a year-by-year progress bar showing how much
of your expected life has already passed.

A subtle reminder, every time you open a tab, that time is the only
finite resource you really have.

Features
• Real-time countdown updated every second
• Segmented progress bar, one cell per year of life
• Animated background: falling pixels and occasional shooting stars
• Retro CRT scanline overlay for a calm, focused look
• Configurable birth date and life expectancy via the Settings page

Privacy
Your birth date and life expectancy are stored only on your device
using Chrome's local storage. The extension makes no network requests
at runtime and sends no data anywhere.
