# URL Manager Pro

URL Manager Pro is a powerful and highly customizable Chrome extension designed to help you build, organize, manage, and quickly navigate your favorite URLs and environment-specific credentials. It aims to eliminate the friction of juggling multiple environments (e.g., local, dev, staging, prod) and path configurations by giving you an intuitive, block-building approach to URLs.

## Features

- 🏗️ **Dynamic URL Builder**: Construct URLs easily by combining `scheme`, `env`, `path`, and `query` components.
- ⚡ **Natural Language Input**: Type naturally (e.g., "http prod search apple") to quickly auto-select URL components.

  - Create credentials for specific URLs and **associate multiple URLs** with a single credential.
  - **Auto-merge duplicates**: if two credentials have the same name + username + password, the extension merges them and combines the URL list.
  - **Reorder credentials/folders** (drag-and-drop + per-row up/down) to control which credential is treated as the default for a URL.

## Shortcuts

- `Ctrl + K` : Open Quick Search (Command Palette)
- `Ctrl + Enter` : Open the currently built URL (auto-copies default credentials if configured)

## Development

1. Clone the repository.
2. Install dependencies:
   ```bash
   npm install
   ```
3. Run the development server (uses Vite):
   ```bash
   npm run dev
   ```

## Build & Package

To build the extension for production and create a ZIP file ready for Chrome Web Store submission:

```bash
npm run build
```

This will run the Vite build process and then automatically execute `zip.js` to create an archive of the `dist/` directory.

## Installation in Chrome (Local)

1. Run `npm run build` to generate the `dist` folder.
2. Open Google Chrome and go to `chrome://extensions/`.
3. Enable **Developer mode** in the top right corner.
4. Click **Load unpacked**.
5. Select the `dist` directory generated by the build process.
